Time Sketch 1: Tidal Oscillator 1

I built an LFO that responds to the tide 24 hours ago.

The Node script is pulling from the IOC sea level monitor data from Wood’s Hole, MA. Every minute it adds a new target for the secondary oscilator which modulates the oscillator running at 440Hz. The target is interpolated to over the course of the minute, and after an hour it makes another fetch and sets another target.

I would really like for the LFO to move at the actual pace of the tide but I find Max/MSP to be incredibly frustrating to work with. So I’m still getting there!
